That’s Casual Press is Gordon’s visual art company. That’s right folks - he’s not simply an actor!
Gordon is a relief printmaker - working mainly in wood-engraving and dabbling in lino-block. He has been print-making since he was nine years-old - taking a yearly workshop at the Goderich Celtic Roots Festival until he was 23 years-old.
At a young age, Gordon was determined to become a veterinarian, and to this day, his love for animals can be seen in his subjects of choice. He has moved beyond portraits and started exploring the situational humour of animals in their environments.
Recently, Gordon expanded his printing repertoire, carving a series of multi-layer lino-cut prints which examine the beauty of Canada’s provincial and territorial flower - now available as a card/envelope set!
